  Such a Lovely church. I was passing through Merced and stopped off at their Rummage sale. Oh my, I had so much fun, the prices were perfect. I bought so much and wished I could have bought more, however as I was traveling I had no more room in my car. I think by the time I was done my car looked liked a scavenger lol Everyone who helped me at the sale were all so kind and fun to talk to. Obviously this is really a terrific congregation. Who ever ran the Rummage sale really did an awesome job as well as all of your volunteers. Thank you !I hope you made your $ goal. I hope to see you next year.

  They dont like the homeless shelter across the street
  
  The Merced County Rescue Mission in California is a Christian organization that provides food, clothing, and shelter to the homeless..
  
  Executive Director Bruce Metcalf says the temporary closure was prompted after complaints about the homeless from the members of the Central Presbyterian Church, which is across the street. He added that the mission wants to be a “good neighbor.”
  
  They arent christian at this 'church' they are selfish.

  With this church my four children and I have found a spiritual home. I am a young single mother who has been met with nothing but love and understanding from the people of CPC. Please come on Sundays, you will find a community of people who love Christ and adore God, and that are happy to include you no matter where your walk in life has lead you. I have been blessed to have been introduced to this church and I was welcomed not judged - plus the sermons are easy to understand and don't fly above my head. Pastor Dave keeps them entertaining and uses his own past as an example of how even at our lowest we can find God and our sins can be forgiven - trust me he was not choir boy but now is a shining example of how to begin anew in the name of the father.

  Well its a good thing Jesus never helped the poor or hungry. I have to say good job continuing with God's plan for human life. Jesus would be so proud.
